Thank you for your interest in St. James’ Preschool! We are a non-profit, Religiously Exempt Child Day Center (RECDC) and a Ministry of St. James’ Episcopal Church. We are pleased and proud to offer this ministry to our church members and the wider Leesburg/Loudoun community. We warmly invite you to apply and become part of our loving Christian preschool community, where faith and learning go hand in hand.

St. James’ Preschool (SJP) uses the Brightwheel app for parent communication, tuition billing, and registration. Applications for 2026-2027 will be processed through Brightwheel. By filling out our contact form, you will be entered into our Brightwheel system and will receive an invitation to create an account and fill out your child’s application making a first and second-choice for class placement.

All applications received by February 1, 2026, will be considered equally with priority given in this order:

1. St. James' Episcopal Church Active Member (as determined by SJC clergy/leadership)

2. St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church Active Member (as determined by SGC clergy/leadership)

3. Returning SJP Students and their siblings

4. Graduating Student Siblings

5. Community Members

If there are more requests for a class than space available, your second-choice will be honored and a waitlist started. Students enrolled in their second-choice class will have the chance to move to their 1st choice if openings become available.

ALL 3, 4 AND 5-YEAR-OLDS MUST BE FULLY POTTY-TRAINED. This means fully independent in their toileting skills and able to change their clothing should an accident occur during class. No Pull-Ups, please!

Classes run September 2026 through May 2027. Annual tuition is budgeted and set for each class and then divided into nine (9) equal parts that can be paid monthly by Brightwheel invoice.

Fees Due:

• $125 Application Fee (NON-REFUNDABLE) for Community Members OR $100 (NON-REFUNDABLE) for church members and returning SJP Students

• Commitment Payment equal to one month’s Tuition (becomes May 2027 tuition payment)

• $100 Supply Fee

For families with multiple applications, after the first full application fee, all subsequent applications are $50 each. All commitment payments and supply fees are due in full for all students. We do offer a 5% sibling discount on tuition only (supply fee in full).

All fees are due by May 1, 2026 to secure your child’s spot.
